North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has started using a luxury Russian limousine gifted by an undisclosed person. The vehicle, an Aurus Senat limousine, was given to Kim by an unknown Russian individual. The luxury car was showcased to Kim by the unidentified person during a summit in Russia last year. This gift has raised concerns as it potentially violated a UN resolution banning the supply of luxury goods to North Korea in an effort to pressure the country to abandon its nuclear weapons program. Kim’s sister, Kim Yo Jong, praised the car’s “special function” and highlighted the strengthening bilateral ties between North Korea and Russia.
